Bouldnor Cliff

During the Summers of 1998 & 1999, MADU worked in the Solent with the Hampshire & Wight Trust for Maritime Archaeology, and amongst other work, helped with surveying and recording a submerged forest and uncovering the mystery behind the Bouldner Cliff Mesolithic site.

During the project weeks, many teams & groups of divers & archaeologists attended and based themselves within the walls of Hurst Castle, which provided an excellent atmospheric base camp.
