Freshwater West Beach Wreck

Following storms that ravaged the United Kingdom during the first couple of months of 2014, numerous sightings of emerging wreckage were reported around the coast of the United Kingdom including various sites in South West Wales.

In February the report of an “Upside Down Wreck” on Freshwater West Beach was made and MADU were asked if they could visit the site to inspect, record and carry out a Total Station survey of the remains.

The work culminated with a report on the site: Survey and Recording of a Shipwreck on Freshwater West Beach, Pembrokeshire
